Three Firsts and School-Record Relay Pace Tigers at Anderson

Anderson, Ind. - DePauw picked up three first and one relay set a school record as the Tigers competed in the Fred Wilt Invitational.

The school record came from the 4 x 200 relay of Chase Wright, Luke Patty, Dante Stewart, and Johnny Miller which finished second in 1:31.91 and eclipsed the mark of 1:32.61 set in 2001.

Jordan Booker brought home a win in the 400 meters (50.86) as did Zach Batt in the 800 meters (1:58.63). Also collecting a first was the 4 x 400 relay in 3:29.67.

Andrew Saunders was runner-up in the weight throw (14.94m/49-00.25), while Nate Baker placed fifth (13.91m/45-7.75). Baker was also sixth in the shot put (12.84m/42-1.5).

In addition to his win in the 400, Booker was fourth in the high jump (1.80m/5-10.75) and the 200 meters (23.07). Kyle Munz was second in the 3,000 meters (9:15.60) as was Paul Christian in the 5,000 meters (15:26.96).

Dante Stewart was third in the 400 meters (51.45) with additional fourth-place showings coming from Cole Martin in the mile (4:27.00), Spencer Golde in the 1,000 meters (2:51.00) and Chris Lowry in the 800 (2:02.39). Alex Rossebo was fifth in the 800 (2:02.57) and Miles Von Herrmann was sixth in the 3,000 (9:30.82).

The Tigers travel to Oberlin March 3-4 for the North Coast Athletic Conference Championships.
