DePauw Finishes Third at NCAC Championships

Granville, Ohio - DePauw totaled 1,108 points and finished third at the North Coast Athletic Conference Championships. Denison won with 1,988 and Kenyon was second with 1,769. Wooster was fourth with 1,064.

In Saturday's competition, Mary Woods earned all-conference honors with a third-place showing in the 100 individual medley. Woods finished in 59.92 seconds after a school-record 58.55 in the prelims. Jamie Fritsch was seventh in 1:02.44 following a 1:00.14 in prelims.

Annie Graves was sixth in the 200 backstroke in 2:07.32, while Kirsten Olson was seventh in 2:07.55. Emily Ward posted a seventh-place finish in the 200 breaststroke in 2:36.34.

Wrapping up the meet with a third-place finish was the 400 free relay of Angela Newlon, Olson, Shelby Whitt and Allison Lund in 3:33.13.
