DePauw Finishes Third at NCAC Championships; McManus Breaks 100 Breast Record

Granville, Ohio - DePauw totaled 1,141.5 points and finished third at the North Coast Athletic Conference Championships. Denison won with 1,953, while Kenyon was second with 1,750. Wooster placed fourth with 998 and Wabash fifth with 996.

In Saturday's competition, Charlie Stewart-Bates posted an eighth-place finish in the 1,650-yard freestyle in 16:35.57, while Zach Johns did the same in the 200 butterfly in 1:56.66.

Eric Addy placed 7th in three-meter diving with 377.20 points in the prelims and 363.10 in the finals.

Sam McManus broke the DePauw 100 breaststroke record in today's prelims when he finished the first half of his 200 breast in 55.15 seconds which also made a "B" cut.

DePauw's 400 free relay of McManus, Kurt Swieter, Matt Gullickson and Brandon Sholtis was third in an NCAA "B" time of 3:03.56.
