Indianapolis, Ind. - DePauw opened the indoor track and field season today at the Uindy Season opener.

Nate Baker posted the Tigers' top finishes with a sixth in the weight throw (14.35m) and ninth in the shot put (12.53m).

Jacob Avenaim was 16th in the 60 meters (7.30 seconds) and 29th in the 200 meters (24.29), while Chase Wright was 17th in the 60 meters (7.32) and 20th in the 200 (23.99). Satchel Oskins also competed in both sprints with a 22nd-place showing in the 60 (7.42) and 17th in the 200 (23.83).

Rounding out the Tigers' competitors in the 200 were Blake Miller who was 30th in 24.39 and Luis Torres who was 49th in 26.08.

The Tigers return to action on January 19 at the Rose-Hulman Friday Night Invitational.
