Tigers Earn Split at University of Indianapolis

Indianapolis, Ind. - DePauw moved to 2-2 on the season after splitting a double dual at University of Indianapolis. The Tigers topped Indiana Wesleyan, 126-95, and fell to the hosts by a 189-55 score.

Ali Tallen paced the Tigers with a win in the 100-yard backstroke in 59.86 seconds, while Mary Woods was second in the 200 individual medley in 2:15.96.

Riley Steffey turned in a third-place showing in the 500 free (5:34.13) and was fourth in the 1000 freestyle (11:27.67), while Rachel Graves was third in the 1,000 free (11:03.61) and fifth in the 100 free (56.24). Also finishing third was Katherine Douglas with 208.72 points in 1-meter diving.

DePauw's 200 free relay of Allison Lund, Olivia Neff, Maggie Wagenbrenner and Woods was second in 1:40.46 with the 200 medley relay of Tallen, Woods, Neff and Wagenbrenner placing third in 1:51.80.

The Tigers will take on Albright College in an exhibition meet on December 19 in Florida and return to regular action on Saturday, January 6, with a 5 p.m. meet at Indiana State.
