Tigers Rally from 2-0 Deficit to Win over #12 Bears

St. Louis, Mo. - After dropping the opening two sets at 12th-ranked Washington University in St. Louis by scores of 25-22 and 25-19, DePauw came all the way back to win the match with 25-17, 25-22 and 15-11 wins in the final three sets. The Tigers improved to 17-6, while the Bears slipped to 20-7.

Suzanne Peters led the Tigers with 16 kills, while Liv Hartman added 14. Morgan Stearley followed with 13 and hit .355 for the match.

Keegan Kollias assisted on 50 of DePauw's 64 kills,while Kaley Keating posted a team-high 22 digs. Haley Bitzer (2 solo, 3 assists) and Meaghan Etling (0 solos, 5 assists) paced DePauw with five blocks apiece. Kaylee Nichols and Stearley each had three service aces in the victory.

DePauw outhit the Bears, .234-212 and held a 64-56 edge in kills as well as a 74-71 advantage in digs.

The Tigers face Transylvania at Washington University at 11:30 a.m. CDT tomorrow and Nebraska Wesleyan at 1:30 p.m. CDT.
