DePauw Falls to Washington University

St. Louis, Mo. - DePauw opened the dual meet portion of its schedule at Washington University in St. Louis and fell by a 187-100 score to the Bears.

Four Tigers picked up individual wins for the Tigers including Charlie Stewart-Bates in the 1000-yard freestyle (10:18.39), Sam McManus in the 200 breaststroke (2;15.34), Mitchell Davis in the 400 individual medley (4:27.74) and Eric Addy in 3-meter diving (215.65 pts).

McManus was second in the 100 breast (58.91) as was Adam Pircon in the 200 backstroke (2:01.25), Josh McCown in the 400 IM (4:27.74) and Eric Addy in 1-meter diving (226.25 pts).

DePauw's 400 free relay of Ian Longan, Aidan Schurig, Will Serf and Carter-Buckman won in 3:19.50, while the Tigers' 200 medley relay of Pircon, McManus, Alex Murlin and Sam Wagner was third in 1:38.98.

The Tigers return to action on Friday, November 3, with a 6 p.m. home meet against Wabash at the Erdmann Natatorium
