DePauw Opens Season with Third-Place Showing at Indiana Intercollegiates

West Lafayette, Ind. - DePauw totaled 267 points and opened the season with a third-place finish at the Indiana Intercollegiates. Ball State won with 624, while Evansville was second with 542.

The Tigers' 200-yard medley relay of Rachel Graves, Grace Lund, Val Dowd and Maggie Wagenbrenner was fifth in 1:57.43, while the 200 freestyle relay of Olivia Neff, Allison Lund, Ali Tallen and Woods was third in 1:40.36.

Woods had a pair of top-five finishes in the 100 breaststroke (1:10.02) and the 100 butterfly (1:00.20), while Allison Lund placed fourth in the 50 free in 25.11 and was eighth in the 100 free (55.80).

Neff was fifth in the 100 free (55.45) and sixth in the 50 free (2:01.63), while Tallen placed fifth in the 100 back (1:00.86) and ninth in the 100 fly (1:00.89).

Graves posted a sixth-place performance in the 200 free (2:01.63) and was seventh in the 500 free (5:28.44).

Eighth-place finishes came from Wagenbrenner in the 50 free (25.51) and Julia Keller in the 100 back (1:02.86).

DePauw returns to action on Saturday, October 28, with a 1 p.m. CDT meet at Washington University in St. Louis.
