#22 Tigers Fall to Second-Ranked Big Red

Granville, Ohio - The 22nd-ranked Tigers slipped to 2-3 on the season following a 187-95 loss at second-ranked Denison.

Angela Newlon took first in the 1,650-yard freestyle in 17:24.14 and was third in the 200 butterfly in 2:14.78. Also collecting wins were Mary Woods in the 100 fly in 1:00.62 and Olivia Neff in the 100 individual medley in 1;03.20.

Woods also was second in the 100 breaststroke (1:09.15) as were Neff and Allison Lund in the 50 free (25.38), Kirsten Olson in the 200 backstroke (2:11.17), Jeanne Cullen in the 100 fly (1:04.00) and Annie Graves in the 100 individual medley (1:04.00).

The Tigers' 200 free relay of Woods, Lund, Ellen Riehle and Neff wrapped up the meet with a win in 1:42.73.

The Tigers return to action on Saturday, January 14, when they host Franklin at 1 p.m.
