Greencastle, Ind. - In the final home competition of the season, 14th-ranked DePauw moved to 4-4-1  after a 147-147 tie against visiting Franklin at Erdmann Natatorium.

Charlie Stewart-Bates was a double-winner for the Tigers as he touched first in the 1000-yard freestyle (10:10.77) and the 500 free (4:52.91). Mitchell Davis also picked up a pair of wins in the 100 breaststroke (1:01.10) and the 200 breast (2:14.77).

Other DePauw firsts were turned in by Adam Pircon (200 free; 1:45.72) and Brandon Sholtis (50 free; 21.66).

The Tigers' 200 medley relay of Ryan Smith, Sam McManus, Sholtis and Aidan Schurig opened the meet with a win in 1:35.88.

The final score came down to the 400 free relay with DePauw's "A" relay of McManus, Matt Gullickson, Sholtis and Sam Wagner finishing second in 3:12.12.

DePauw travels to University of Chicago on Saturday, January 21, for a tri-meet with the host Maroons and Calvin.
