Box Score The DePauw men's soccer team and Kalamazoo played to a 0-0 tie on Saturday, despite DePauw playing a man down for the majority of the game.
At the 26th minute, Zach Hoffman was given a red card, forcing DePauw to go against Kalamazoo one player short for the remainder of the game. The Tigers still managed to out shoot the Hornets 17-14, and they also won the corner advantage at 11-5.
Both keepers did their part in keeping the game scoreless. DePauw's Harrison Glover made four saves, including a close one late, while Griffin Hamel made seven saves for the Hornets.
Julian Gonzalez created some chances for DePauw, but his three shots on goal were denied each time.
Four yellow cards were called in addition to Hoffman's red.
DePauw moves to 1-0-1 on the year, while Kalamazoo moves to 0-0-1. The Tigers host Marian on Sept. 9 for their next matchup.
