Box Score Bloomington, Ill. – The 17th-ranked DePauw women's soccer team lost 3-1 to Wisconsin-Whitewater on Sunday.
DePauw fell behind 1-0 after the first half and could not stop the Warhawks from adding on two additional goals as their lead grew to 3-0. DePauw's lone goal came at 78:50 via Rebekah Crone, which was her third goal of the season.
Riley Riordan made three saves in goal for the Tigers, as did Sara Klimisch for Wisconsin-Whitewater. DePauw was outshot 12-8 and took the corner advantage 4-3.
DePauw drops to 4-2-1 overall, and they will travel to Oberlin on Saturday to begin North Coast Athletic Conference play.
