Granvville, Ohio - Marcus Dozier collected his second championship of the meet and was named the Most Valuable Male Field Event Athlete of the North Coast Athletic Conference Championships. DePauw totaled 63 points and finished sixth, while Ohio Wesleyan won with 210 points and Wabash was second with 209.
Dozier, who won the discus title yesterday, took first in the shot put today with a best mark of 15.60 meters (51-2.25).
Zack Batt was fifth in the 1,500 meters in 4:01.29, while Nate Baker was sixth in the hammer throw (46.44m/152-4) and seventh in the shot put (13.26m/43-6).
Also finishing sixth were Chase Wright in the 200 meters (22.88) and Brian Mincks in the 800 meters (1:55.96). Paul Christian was seventh in the 5,000 meters (15:28.15) as was Johhny Miller in the 400 meters (51.28). Wright also added an eighth-place showing in the 100 meters (11.35).
The Tigers' 4x100 relay was fifth in 45.41 seconds, while the 4x400 relay placed sixth in 3:27.44.
