Box Score 1 | Box Score 2

Greencastle, Ind. - DePauw extended its win streak to five and stayed perfect in North Coast Athletic Conference play with a doubleheader sweep of Ohio Wesleyan by scores of 6-3 and 11-4. The Tigers improved to 10-11 overall and 4-0 in the NCAC, while the Battling Bishops dropped to 6-14 overall and 1-3 in conference play.

In the opener, Ohio Wesleyan grabbed a 1-0 lead in the first as Amanda Boyle led off by being hit by a pitch and moved to second on Ashley Day's sacrifice bunt. Boyle scored when Erin Ferguson reached on an error with two outs.

The Tigers countered in the second as Liz Getz drove in Haleigh Chasteen with a double and then took the lead on Sammi Bell's solo homer to center in the third.

Ohio Wesleyan drew even in the fourth as Taylor Day plated Taylor Dickson with a single to right.

Kathleen Byers led off the DePauw fourth with a single through the left side and pinch-runner Andi Sarkisian stole second. Sidney Holler's sacrifice bunt advanced Sarkisian to third and Getz's sacrifice fly scored her.

DePauw wrapped up its scoring in the fifth as Bell walked, Linsey Button reached on an error and Lauren Godden hammered a three-run homer to left center.

The Bishops' final run crossed in the seventh with Ashley Day reaching on a one-out bunt single and moving to second when Sarah Flint reached on a walk. Dickson delivered a two-out single to right that scored Day.

Flint advanced both with a sacrifice bunt and Ferguson drove in both with a single up the middle.

DePauw's second inning was the difference in the game as the Tigers scored seven runs on eight hits. Kat Panos singled and moved to third on Bekka Roberts' double. Holler singled home Panos and moved to second on the throw before Roberts scored on a wild pitch.

Getz singled home Holler and stole both second and third bases before coming home on Bell's bunt single. Button followed with a single and Godden loaded the bases with a single. Chasteen's double to right center scored a pair before Panos reached on an error that allowed pinch-runner Jessica Szyska to score.

Flint singled with one out in the third before Ferguson cut the DePauw lead to 7-4 with a homer to left center.

Godden's solo homer in the fourth made it 8-4. Holler led off the fifth with a single and moved to third on Getz's double before scoring on Bell's single.
