Terre Haute, Ind. - Marcus Dozier picked up wins in the shot put and discus and led DePauw to a fourth-place finish at the Rose-Hulman Twilight. The Tigers totaled 64 points, while Rose-Hulma won with 293.5 points, Wabash was second with 142 and Greenville third with 79.5.
Dozier took the top spot in the discus (53.73m/176-3) as well as in the shot (15.85m/52-0). Nate Baker was eighth in the shot (13.53m/44-4.75) and fourth in the hammer throw (45.55m/149-5). Paul Watts was fourth in the 3,000 meters (8:55.38, while Paul Christian was fifth (8:57.54).
Nick Meszaros placed fifth in the 5,000 meters (16:08.18) as did Tyler Nemeth in the pole vault (3.97m/13-00.25).
Four Tigers turned in sixth-place finishes including Chase Wright in the 100 meters (11.42), Johnny Miller in the 400 meters (51.46), Zack Batt in the 1,500-meter run (4:05.36) and Brad Wise in the 3,000-meter steeplechase (10:38.31) Terry Winston was eighth in the 100 meters (51.91).
The Tigers finished fifth in both relays as the 4x100 crossed in 44.98 seconds and the 4x400 finished in 3:30.94.
DePauw returns to action on Saturday, April 30, at the Redhawk Invitational hosted by Miami University.
