Hanover, Ind. - Paced by Paul Christian's win in the 10,000 meters, DePauw totaled 42 points and finished sixth among 16 schools at the Hanover Invitational. Trine won with 145 points, while Hanover was second with 88.
Christian won the 10K in 32:33.39 and was the Tigers' lone individual winner.
Two Tigers scored in the 5,000-meter run with Polo Burguete finishing third (16:05.46) and Paul Watts placing fourth (16:16.32).
Nate Baker scored in two events with a fourth-place showing in the shot put (12.70m) and eighth in the hammer throw (45.97m).
Marcus Dozier finished fifth in the discus (42.17m), while Demarco Henry was seventh (40.54m).
Finishing sixth were Brian Mincks in the 800 meters (2:03.55), Zack Batt in the 1,500 meters (4:13.91) and Josse Smith in the steeplechase (10:59.80).
The Tigers return to action on Saturday, April 9, when they host the DePauw Invitational.
