Gambier, Ohio - DePauw scored in four events in today's second and final day of competition at the North Coast Athletic Conference Indoor Track and Field Championships and finished eighth with 28 points. Ohio Wesleyan won with 171 points, while Oberlin was second with 131.5.
Claudia Monnett paced the Tigers today with a fourth-place finish in the 3,000-meter run in 10:39.38, while Maggie Royalty was seventh in the long jump at 5.20 meters (17-00.75) and Katie Manalo eighth in the shot put at 11.17 meter s(36-7.75).
DePauw's 4x400 relay of Odessa Fernandes, Hallie Bechtel, Gabrielle Coffing and Amanda Weber was eighth in 4:22.10.
The Tigers open the outdoor season on Saturday, March 19, at the Rose-Hulman Early Bird.
