Five Tigers Compete on Second Day of NCAA Championships

Greensboro, N.C. - DePauw returned to action at the NCAA Division III Swimming and Diving Championships with five student-athletes swimming on the second of four days of competition.

The 200-yard freestyle relay of Caroline Bridges, Ellen Riehle, Kirsten Olson and Mary Woods led off the morning prelim with a 21st-place finish in 1:36.68 and the 400 medley relay of Olson, Woods, Newlon and Bridges finished it with an 18th-place showing in the 400 medley relay in 3:55.04.

A pair of Tigers competed in the 200 free as Bridges placed 22nd in 1:52.55 and Newlon was 25th in 1:52.77.

DePauw is back in the poll with Friday's prelims starting at 10 a.m.
