Greensboro, N.C. - Blake Lehmann earned all-America honors and Alex Grissom honorable mention all-America on the opening day of competition at the NCAA Division III Swimming and Diving Championships.

Lehmann finished eighth in the 50-yard freestyle in 20.52 seconds after going 20.32 in the prelims. Grissom was 14th in the 500 free in 4:31.55 following a 4:32.68 time. 

In other prelim action, Mitchell Davis was 45th in the 200 individual medley in 1:55.23 and the 200 medley relay of Lehmann, Davis, Grissom and Kurt Swieter was 22nd in 1:33.06. Lehmann's leadoff 50 back time of 22.53 seconds was the second-fastest of the session.

DePauw has totaled 14 points and is in 17th place. Thursday prelims start at 10 a.m.
