Grinnell, Iowa - DePauw senior Marcus Dozier wrapped up his collegiate indoor track and field career earlier today with a 10th-place finish in the shot put at the NCAA Division III Championships.

Seeded third entering the Championships, Dozier's best mark of 16.26 meters (53-4.25) came on his second throw and he was called for a foul on his final toss. 

Dozier's prelim throw was just 5.5 inches away from qualifying for the finals.

DePauw opens the outdoor season on Saturday, March 19, at the Rose-Hulman Early Bird Invitational.
