Greencastle, Ind. - DePauw totaled 48 points and finished fifth among nine schools at the DePauw Indoor Classic. Taylor won with 205 points followed by Huntington with 107
Dilan Palmer's second-place showing in the pole vault (3.26m/10-8.25) led the Tigers, while Ellie Sheffield was third in the 60-meter hurdles (10.10) as was Claudia Monnett in the 3,000 meters (11:13.69).
The Tigers picked up nine points in the 400 meters as Odessa Fernandes placed fourth in 1:06.89 and Hallie Bechtel was fifth in 1:08.55. They collected seven in the 1,000 meters as Mackenzie Jones was fifth in 3:42.55 and Brittany Welker was sixth in 3:46.55.
Katie Manalo finished fifth in the shot put (11.0m/36-1.25), while Kayla Kottra placed seventh in the triple jump (9.45m/31-0) and Amanda Weber was eighth in the 200 meters (28.34).
DePauw's 4x400 relay finished fourth in 4:48.
The Tigers return to action next Saturday at Anderson University's Fred Wilt Invitational.
