Greencastle, Ind. - DePauw totaled 49 points and finished fifth among the 11 schools at the DePauw Indoor Track and Field Classic. Lindsey Wilson won with 141 followed by Wabash with 137 and Taylor with 116.
Marcus Dozier collected a win in the shot put for the third-straight week as he posted a best of 16.56 meters (54-4).
Johnny Miller was third in the 400 meters (52.35), while fifth-place finishes were turned in by Brian Mincks in the 800 meters (2:03.46), Brad Burch in the 1,000 meters (3:11.81), Polo Burguete in the 3,000 meters (8:59.75) and Tyler Nemeth in the pole vault (3.85m/12-7.5).
Burguete was sixth in the mile run (4:24.70) as was George Macy in the 60 hurdles (9.13). Paul Watts rounded out DePauw's scorers with an eighth-place showing in the 3,000 meters (9:11.78).
The Tigers' 4x200 relay finished third in 1:37.48, while the 4x400 was seventh in 3:39.13.
DePauw competes at Anderson University's Fred Wilt Invitational next Saturday.
