Granville, Ohio - Paced by a pair of second-place individual finishes and two third-place relays, DePauw finished the day in third place at the North Coast Athletic Conference Swimming and Diving Championships with 786 points. Denison leads with 1,392.5, while Kenyon is second with 1,223.5. Wabash is in fourth with 636.5.

Blake Lehmann was second in the 100-yard butterfly in 48.85 seconds as was Sam McManus in the 100 breaststroke in 56.04 seconds.

Mitchell Davis was seventh in the 100 breast in 58.37, while Andrew Petersen was 10th in 58.32 and Matt Oonk 18th in 1:02.32 after going 1:01.26 in the prelims.

Eli Anderson turned in a seventh-place showing in the 100 backstroke in 51.99 seconds with Matthew Freudenthaler placing 15th in 55.05 and Jimmy McDonnell finishin 16th in 55.14.

Timothy Spichiger paced the Tigers in the 400 individual medley by placing ninth in 4:12.73 after swimming a 4:10.88 in the prelims. Zach Johns was 10th in 4:12.87 with Bradley Leftwich coming in 12th in 4:20.62.

Brandon Sholtis was 10th in the 100 butterfly in 51.04 with Freudenthaler placing 17th in 52.88.
Kurt Swieter's time of 1:42.79 was good for 14th in the 200 free after he swam a 1:42.56 in the prelims. Alex Grissom was 16th in the event in 1:43.02.

Eric Addy finished eighth in one-meter diving with 370.20 points in the prelims and 381.90 in the finals.

The Tigers 200 medley relay of Lehmann, McManus, Sholtis and Oonk opened the finals with a third-place showing in 1:31.22 and the 800 free relay of Lehmann, Grissom, Swieter and Adam Pircon wrapped up the evening with a third-place showing in 6:53.53.

Tomorrow's final day of competition begins with 10 a.m. prelims and finals at 6;30 p.m.
