DePauw Opens Competition at Total Performance Invitational

Gambier, Ohio - On the opening evening of competition at Kenyon's Total Performance Sports Camps Invitational, DePauw totaled 101 points and is in sixth, 38 points behind Davidson.

The Tigers' 200-yard medley relay of Eli Anderson, Mitchell Davis, Brandon Sholtis and Sam McManus opened the evening with a 13th-place finish in 1:33.04.

David Freund followed with an 18th-place showing in the 1,650 freestyle in 16:59.71 before the 800 free relay of Kurt Swieter, Matt Gullickson, Adam Pircon and Charlie Stewart-Bates placed 11th in 6:51.86.

University of Pennsylvania leads after the first of three days with 282 points, while Kenyon is second with 222.
