13th-ranked DePauw Tops Wabash

Crawfordsville, Ind. - With firsts in 10 of the 16 events, DePauw moved to 2-2 on the season after taking a 177-119 win at Wabash. 

Mitchell Davis posted wins in three events as he touched first in the 100-yard breaststroke (59.23), 200 breast (2:09.82) and the 200 individual medley (1:59.75).

Kurt Swieter posted a pair of firsts as he won the 200-yard freestyle (1:46.43) and the 100 free (47.82). Charlie Stewart-Bates also won a pair in the 1000 free (1:00.07) and the 500 free (4:48.14).

Also collecting firsts were Brandon Sholtis in the 50 free (21.90) and Kyle Winters in the 200 backstroke (1:59.46).

Eric Addy was third on both the one-meter and three-meter diving boards with 247.2 and 204.6 points, respectively.

DePauw's 400 free relay of Sholtis, Mark Gullickson, Matt Gullickson and Swieter won in 3:14.06.

The Tigers return to action December 1-3 at Kenyon's Total Performance Invitational.
