Box Score Springfield, Ohio -- Playing without leading scorer Kathryn Ruark, the DePauw women's soccer team was shut out 2-0 against Wittenberg on Tuesday.
Ruark, who was injured during the team's 1-0 win over Wooster on Saturday, leads the team in goals (6) and points (14). DePauw ended up being outshot Tuesday 15-8.
Wittenberg scored in the 15th minute as Kenzie Mason scored the game-winner. They took the 1-0 lead at halftime and furthered it later in the game when Morgan Jones scored in the 74th minute.
Riley Riordan did all she could in net, making eight saves. Her streak of three consecutive shutouts was snapped.
Jen Dimos and Bridget Kirby each had two shots on goal.
DePauw drops to 8-5-1 overall and 4-2 in the NCAC. Wittenberg moves to 9-3-2 overall and 4-1 in the conference. Wittenberg now sits in second in the conference, while DePauw drops to third.
Tuesday was DePauw's final road game of the regular season. They return home for two more games with Denison on Saturday and Allegheny on Oct. 29.
