Greencastle, Ind. - Angela Newlon broke three of her own records in the 12th-ranked Tigers' home finale at Erdmann Natatorium. DePauw topped 23rd-ranked Calvin, 141-101 and lost to eighth-ranked Chicago, 162-80. Chicago was a 180-63 winner over Calvin in the double-dual.

Newlon's win in the 1,000-yard freestyle came in 10:08.82 which is faster than any other Division III time entering the weekend and broke her own school and pool records by nearly 12 seconds. She then came back to win the 500 free in 4:59.71 which eclipsed her pool mark by just under three seconds.

Caroline Bridges touched first in the 50 free in 24.60 seconds, while Kirsten Olson won the 200 backstroke in 2:09.74. Olson was also second in the 200 free in 1:57.12 as was Annie Graves in the 200 backstroke in 2:12.06.

Bridges was third in the 100 free in 54.32 seconds as was Dana Zerbini in the 200 breaststroke (2:33.05) and Mary Woods in the 200 individual medley (2:14.46).

DePauw's 200 medley relay of Annie Graves, Woods, Jamie Fritsch and Ellen Riehle were second in 1:53.23, while the 400 free relay of Bridges, Olson, Woods and Newlon were second in 3:37.90.

The Tigers return to action on February 10-13 in the North Coast Athletic Conference Championships at Denison University.
