Greencastle, Ind. - The 15th-ranked Tigers finished the dual meet portion of their schedule at the Erdmann Natatorium as they hosted 10th-ranked Calvin and 11th-ranked Chicago. DePauw fell to Chicago by a 125-105 score and to Calvin, 147-90. Chicago was a 125-112 winner over Calvin in the double dual.
Alex Grissom was a double-winner for the Tigers as he touched first in the 200-yard freestyle in 1:43.69 and then won the 500 free in 4:45.15.
Blake Lehmann collected a win in the 100 butterfly in 50.27 seconds and set a pool record in the 50 free while swimming exhibition and finishing in 20.55 seconds.
Kurt Swieter was second in the 200 free in 1:44.45, while Sam McManus was runner-up in the 100 breaststroke in 59.22.
The Tigers' 200 medley relay of Lehmann, Andrew Petersen, Matthew Freudenthaler and Brandon Sholtis was second in 1:35.90 as was the 400 free relay of Lehmann, Swieter, Matt Gullickson and Grissom in 3:10.77.
DePauw returns to action, February 10-13 at the North Coast Athletic Conference Championships at Denison.
