Bloominton, Ill. - DePauw dropped to 1-2 on the season following a 3-0 loss to Calvin in a contest played at Illinois Wesleyan. With the win, the Knights improved to 1-2.

Calvin got on the board at 26:38 as Sydney Kinney scored on Carly Veenstra's assist. Veenstra's goal at 66:18 with an assist from Paige Capel made it 2-0 before Taylor TenHarmsel wrapped up the scoring at 76:24 with a penalty kick.

The Knights outshot the Tigers, 19-11, but DePauw held a 6-5 edge in corners. DePauw's Riley Riordan totaled seven saves, while Calvin's Holly Ellerbroek finished with five.

DePauw travels to Franklin on Wednesday, September 9, for a 7 p.m. game.
