Box Score 2 Springfield, Ohio - DePauw trailed Otterbein 2-1 in the Tigers' second match of the day, but rallied to win the fourth and fifth sets and earn a split of the two matches today.
Earlier in the day, 12th-ranked Hope blanked DePauw 3-0 (25-21, 25-23, 26-24). Suzanne Peters led with 14 kills and hit .407 for the match, while Faith Rolwes assisted on 27 of the Tigers' 38 kills. Keely McGrath led with 19 digs, while Haley Bitzer had four block assists.
Sarah Feldspausch paced the Flying Dutch with 11 kills and Lauren Hazekamp assisted on 33 of Hope's 41 kills. Hazekamp also led with three aces, while Allie Mitchell recorded 24 digs.
In the day's second match, DePauw topped Otterbein 3-2 (30-28, 14-25, 24-26, 25-19, 15-10). Peters led with 13 kills, while Rolwes had 36 assists and three of the Tigers' eight aces. McGrath paced the defense with 23 digs, while Elisabeth Wilson had one block solo and nine block assists.
Sam Hurdzan and Morgan Lowenkamp each had 15 kills for the Cardinals, while Andrea Miller had 45 assists. Gracie Staten led with 28 digs and Marie Thornton totaled four blocks.
The Tigers return to action on Tuesday, September 22, when they host Rose-Hulman at 7 p.m.
