Lexington, Ky. - An early second half goal by Elizabeth Seewer held up as the Tigers defeated Transylvania on the road Friday 1-0.

Seewer scored her third goal of the season at the 50:45 mark to give DePauw (3-2) a second straight win. She is now tied with Stephanie Martin for the team lead in goals.

Riley Riordan improved to 3-2 in the net and recorded her first shutout of the year. She made two saves.

Transylvania (0-3) goalkeeper Ally Barfield took the loss after making four saves.

Both teams stayed in the single digits on shots as DePauw outshot Transylvania 8-5. Transylvania held a 3-2 advantage in corners.

Next up, DePauw faces Centre at 1 p.m. Sunday.
