Canton, N.Y.- Junior Marcus Dozier competed in the discus, finishing 20th, to open his trip at the 2015 NCAA Division III Outdoor Championships.

Dozier entered the event with a top-five distance, but was unable to make the final round as his best preliminary toss went 39.63m (130-00). Grant Havard from Wis.-La Crosse won the event with a toss of 56.90m (186-08).

Dozier is slated to compete in the shot put on Saturday, May 23, starting at 11:30 a.m.
