Greencastle, Ind. - Paced by three firsts, DePauw totaled 72 points and finished fourth at the Indiana Division III Championships at Blackstock Stadium. Wabash won with 254 points and Rose-Hulman was second with 172.
Paul Watts opened the running events with a win in the 10,000 meters (32:19.32), while Noah Gatwood led the field in the 5,000 meters (15:26.04). The other win came from Marcus Dozier in the shot put (52-7.25/16.03 meters).
Dozier also collected a second in the discus throw (157-11/48.14 meters). Josh Ebikwo was third in the 100 meters (11.25 seconds) as was Brian Mincks in the 1,500 meters (4:03.93).
Ebikwo was also fourth in the 200 meters (22.79), while Kevin Kenney finished fifth in the 800 meters (2:00.29).
DePauw's 4 x 100 relay turned in a fifth-place showing in 3:33.21.
The Tigers return to action on Friday, April 17, at the Rose-Hulman Invitational.
