Tigers Finish 14th at NCAA Championships; 400 free relay and Weber Earn Honorable Mention All-America

Shenandoah, Texas - Two more honorable mention all-America performances highlighted DePauw's final day of competition at the NCAA Division III Swimming and Diving Championships and the Tigers finished 14th as a team.

DePauw totaled 63 points and finished 14th which was its best showing since a ninth-place finish in 2008. Emory won with 603 points followed by Denison with 457.5 and Williams with 434.

The Tigers' 400-yard freestyle relay of Erin Horne, Emily Weber, Kirsten Olson and Angela Newlon entered the meet seeded 17th and finished 16th in the prelims in 3:28.69. In the finals, they moved up to 13th in the finals after finishing in 3:27.67.

Weber collected honorable mention all-America accolades in the 1,650 free after placing 16th in 17:15.15.

Earlier in the day, Kirsten Olson was 19th in the 200 backstroke in 2:03.49.
