Atlanta, Ga. - Paced by a pair of firsts from Marcus Dozier, DePauw totaled 37 points and finished 13th among 28 schools at the Emory Invitational. Emory won with 96 points and Albany State was second with 80.
Dozier won the shot put at 15.62 meters and took first in the discus with a best mark of 49.42. Nate Baker was seventh in the shot at 12.77 meters.
Aaron Krabill finished second in the pole vault with a best of 4.30 meters with Noah Gatwood sixth in the 10,000 meters in 32:41.14 and Brian Mincks seventh in the 1,500 meters in 4:06.85.
The Tigers' 4 x 800 relay was seventh in 8:17.61.
Some members of the team competed at Rose-Hulman and the Tigers were led by Paul Watts who finished fifth in the 1,500 meters in 4:13.88 and CJ Copeland placing seventh in the event in 4:16.94. Complete results are available here.
