Shenandoah, Texas - DePauw sophomore Angela Newlon earned honorable mention all-America honors tonight at the NCAA Division III Swimming and Diving Championships after finishing 10th in the 400-yard individual medley.
Newlon was ninth in the prelims in 4:25.60 and came back with a 4:24.10 time which broke her own school record.
In the prelims Emily Weber broke her own 200 free school record after just missing the consolation finals by finishing in 17th in 1:51.22. Kirsten Olson was 19th in the event in 1:51.39.
The 200 free relay of Newlon, Weber, Olson and Erin Horne was 21st in 1:36.49.
DePauw has totaled 23 points and is in 18th place at the midway point of the Championships.
