Winston-Salem, N.C. - DePauw junior Marcus Dozier (South Bend, Ind./Riley) competed at the NCAA Division III Track and Field Championships this morning and placed 10th among the 15 competitors.

Dozier, who won the North Coast Athletic Conference shot put title last Saturday, entered the championships seeded 15th, but his toss of 16.17 meters (53-00.75) in the prelims was good for 10th place. The top nine qualified for finals.

The Tigers open the outdoor season on Saturday, March 21, when they compete in the Emory Invitational.
