Four Firsts Including a School Record Leads Tigers to Team Title

Greencastle, Ind. - Paced by four first-place finishes, DePauw totaled 122 points and won the Tiger Small College Invitational on the Hollensteiner Track. Marian (Ind.) was second with 99 points.

Celia Kauth broke her own school record in the high jump after winning at 1.63 meters (5-4.25), while Heather O'Brien also won in the mile in 5:22.45. Claudia Monnett crossed first in the 3,000 meters in 5:22.45 as did Meghan Burke in the 60-meter hurdles in 9.55 seconds.

MJ Oviatt was second in both the long jump (4.99m/16-4.5) and the triple jump (10.23m/33-6.75) as was Amanda Nunley in the 60 hurdles in 10.24.

Maggie Royalty turned in a third-place showing in the 60 meters (8.17) with Rachel Gutish doing the same in the pole vault (3.25m/10-8).

The Tigers' 4x200 relay was second in 1:54.75, while the 4x400 was third in 4:22.80 as was the distance medley relay in 13:59.37.

DePauw returns to action on Saturday, February 14, when it hosts the DePauw Invitational.
