Anderson, Ind. - DePauw wrapped up its final meet prior to next weekend's North Coast Athletic Conference Championships by winning the Fred Wilt Invitational with 110 points. Union (Ky.) was second with 69 and Centre third with 65.
Meghan Burke won the 60-meter hurdles in 9.61 seconds, while Ellie Sheffield was third in 10.06 and Maddie Prather seventh in 10.55. Maggie Royalty took a first in the 60-meter dash in 8.07 seconds.
Celia Kauth shared first in the high jump at 1.62 meters, while Rachel Gutish did the same in the pole vault at 3.35 meters which tying the Anderson Fieldhouse record,
Amanda Weber placed second in the 200 meters in 27.57, while Jazzkia Jones was third in 27.58 and Cameron Etgen fifth in 27.75. Also finishing second were Heather O'Brien in the 3,000 meters in 10:28.64 and Emma MacAnally in the mile in 5:29.95.
DePauw picked up eight points in the triple jump as Burke tied for third (9.94 meters), Anastasia Athas was fifth (9.85) and Mary Jane Oviatt placed sixth (9.75).
The Tigers collected seven points in the 800 meters as Hallie Bechtel was fourth (2:33.69), Hope Jordan fifth (2:34.52) and Rachel Higson sixth (2:35.80). Jordan also was fourth in the mile (5:31.37), while Amanda Weber was fifth in the long jump (4.68 meters) and Oviatt sixth (4.66 meters). Maggie Hannemann was sixth in the 5,000 meters (19:35.22)
The Tigers' 4 x 200 relay won in 1:49.45.
