Greencastle, Ind. - DePauw collected a pair of firsts and totaled 91 points on the way to a third-place finish at the DePauw Classic on the Hollensteiner Track. Wabash won with 203 points and Taylor was second with 101.
For the second straight week, Marcus Dozier picked up a win in the shot put after finishing with a best mark of 16.11 meters (52-10.25).
The Tigers totaled 19 points in the 3,000-meter run including a second-place showing from Paul Watts (8:47.63) and a third place from Polo Burguete (8:52.89). Brian Mincks was second in the 800 meters (1:59.42) and Amen Galley finished third in the long jump (6.16m/20-2.5).
DePauw's 4 x 200 relay won in 1:35.90 and the 4 x 400 relay was third in 3:33.29.
The Tigers return to action on Saturday, February 28, at the Fred Wilt Invitational, hosted by Anderson University.
