Greencastle, Ind. - Paced by six first-place finishes, the Tigers totaled 143 points and won the DePauw Invitational. Hanover was second with 87 points.
Claudia Monnett brought home a first in the 1,000-meter run (3:12.30) as the Tigers totaled 25 points in the event after Heather O'Brien was second (3:12.36), Megan Hannemann fourth (3:26.02) and Lois Miller seventh (3:36.02).
O'Brien took first in the mile (5:21.58), while Hope Jordan finished fifth (5:31.43). Meghan Burke crossed first in the 60 hurdles in 9.76 seconds followed by Ellie Sheffield in third (10.00) and Amanda Nunley in fourth (10.11). Rachel Gustis was the pole vault winner with a best mark of 3.00 meters (9-10). Hannah Adams was seventh in the pole vault (2.40m/7-10.5).
Third-place finishes came from Maggie Royalty (60meters, 8.14), Jazzkia Jones (200m, 27.49) and Celia Kauth (high jump, 1.59m/5-2.5). Royalty also finished eighth in the 200 meters (27.79) and Adams was eighth in the high jump (1.39m/4-6.75).
Rachel Swick turned in a fourth-place showing in the 600 meters (1:57.90) as did Katie Manalo in the shot put (10.66m/34-11.75).
Anastasia Athas scored in two events with a fifth in the triple jump (9.84m/32-3.5) and a seventh in the long jump (4.89m/16-00.5).
Odessa Fernandes was fifth in the 400 meters (1:04.26) and Cameron Etgen seventh (1;04.61), while Emma MacAnally was fifth in the 800 meters (2:34.03) and Rachel Higson eighth (2:36.56).
DePauw claimed a pair of firsts in the relays as the 4x200 won in 1:52.78 as did the distance medley in 14:10.63. The 4x400 relay was sixth in 4:34.78.
The Tigers host the DePauw Classic on Saturday, February 21, at 11 a.m.
