Granville, Ohio - It was another record-setting day for the Tigers as they totaled 1,176 points (89 more than last year) and finished third at the North Coast Athletic Conference Championships at Denison University. Denison won with 1,930 and Kenyon was second with 1,740.
Emily Weber posted an eighth-place finish in the 1,650-yard freestyle and broke her own school record in 17:13.73. Her time of 10:25.64 over the first 1,000 yards also established a record she previously held. Maggie Lomasney was 11th in the event in 18:16.62
Kirsten Olson turned in an all-NCAC performance in the 200 backstroke in 2:05.30, while Emma Haynes was eighth in 2:11.31, Annie Graves in ninth in 2:13.26 and Danielle Dattilio in 16th in 2:14.47.
Erin Horne paced 15th in the 100 free in 53.67 seconds with Ellen Riehle placing 18th in 54.34. Dana Zerbini's time of 2:29.88 in the 200 breaststroke was good for 12th place with Jamie Fritsch finishing 15th in 2:31.67.
Angela Newlon was just .17 seconds off the school record in the 200 butterfly after finishing fourth in 2:05.57. Morgan Graves was 11th in the event in 2:10.51 with Emily Ward touching in 2:15.98 for 16th.
The Tigers' 400 free relay of Newlon, Olson, ANnie Graves and Weber wrapped up the meet with an all-NCAC third-place finish in 3:29.93.
DePauw will be well-represented at the NCAA Division III Championships which take place March 18-21, in Shenandoah, Texas.
