Granville, Ohio - DePauw totaled 361 points on the first full day of competition and is third among the nine schools competing at the North Coast Athletic Conference Swimming and Diving Championships.
Denison leads with 598 points, while Kenyon is second with 579 and Oberlin is fourth with 256.
The Tigers' 200-yard freestyle relay of Caroline Bridges, Emily Weber, Kirsten Olson and Erin Horne earned all-conference honors with a third-place showing in 1:36.21 which was two seconds faster than their earlier season's best.
Angela Newlon placed third in the 500 free in 4:51.62 to earn all-NCAC accolades for the second straight year after winning the title last year. Emily Weber was seventh in 5:00.75 after swimming a 4:59.06 in the prelims.
Annie Graves placed sixth in the 200 individual medley in 2;07.89, while Olson was eighth in 2:08.80 after finishing the prelims in 2:08.23. Jamie Fritsch was 16th in 2:12.67 with Morgan Graves touching in 2:16.04 after a 2:14.92 prelim time.
DePauw placed three in the "B" Finals of the 50 free with Horne finishing in 13th in 24.69 after a 24.53 in prelims. Ellen Riehle was 16th in 24.92 with a 24.73 prelim time and Bridges was 17th in 25.01 after going 24.51 in prelims.
The 400 medley relay of Annie Graves, Dana Zerbini, Newlon and Weber was fourth in 3:56.24 which was over two seconds faster than their season best.
Friday's prelims start at 10 a.m. with final slated for 6:30 p.m.
