Gambier, Ohio - Through two days of Kenyon College's Total Performance Sports Camps Invitational, the Tigers have totaled 341.5 points and are in sixth place. Pennsylvania leads with 1716, while Kenyon is second with 937.5 and Johns Hopkins third with 751.
Blake Lehmann placed third in the 50-yard freestyle in an NCAA "B" time of 20.42 seconds, while Brandon Sholtis was 15th in 21.10 including 21.00 in the prelims.
Sam McManus posted an eighth-place finish in the 100 breaststroke in 56.15 after going 56.11 in the prelims, while Eli Anderson was 15th in the 100 backstroke in 51.77 seconds.
Matthew Freudenthaler was 21st in the 200 butterfly in 1:59.68 with Timothy Spichiger placing 25th in the 400 individual medley in 4:14.13 and David Freund finishing 27th in the 200 free in 1:45.75. Kurt Swieter (1:40.29) and Alex Grissom (1:40.55) notched "B" cuts in the prelims.
The Tigers' 200-yard free relay of Sholtis, Swieter, McManus and Lehmann was fifth in 1:23.22, while the 400 medley relay of Anderson, Mitchell Davis, Lehmann and Swieter was seventh in 3:23.44.
Eric Addy led DePauw in the three-meter diving competition with 399.40 points to finish third.
