Gambier, Ohio - On the opening evening of Kenyon College's Total Performance Sports Camps Invitational, DePauw totaled 108 points and is in sixth place. Division I Pennsylvania leads with 348, while Kenyon is second with 237.

The Tigers' 800 free relay of Angela Newlon, Kirsten Olson, Mary Woods and Caroline Bridges finished eighth in 7:36.61 and achieved an NCAA "B" cut in the process. Angela Newlon's leadoff time of 1:50.50 broke the DePauw 200 free record.

DePauw's 200 medley relay of Annie Graves, Woods, Newlon and Bridges was 10th in 1:48.05. Katie Ferriss led DePauw's 1,650 free swimmers by finishing in 22nd place in 18:49.57.

The Tigers resume competition on Friday morning.
