Gambier, Ohio - On the opening evening of Kenyon College's Total Performance Sports Camps Invitational, DePauw totaled 103 points and is in sixth place. Division I Pennsylvania leads with 378, while Kenyon is second with 214.
The Tigers' 200-yard medley relay of Eli Anderson, Sam McManus, Blake Lehmann and Brandon Sholtis finished eighth in 1:32.43, while the 800 free relay of Alex Grissom, Kurt Swieter, Adam Pircon and Lehmann was fifth in 6:43.49 which was good for an NCAA "B" cut.
Charlie Nash paced five Tigers in the 1650 free in 26th place with a time of 17:03.92, while David Freund was right behind in 27th in 17:19.75.
The Tigers resume competition on Friday morning.
