DePauw Falls to Ohio Wesleyan in Regular Season Finale

Delaware, Ohio - Second-seed Ohio Wesleyan scored once in each half and advanced to the North Coast Athletic Conference Tournament championship game following a 2-0 semifinal win over third-seed DePauw.

The Tigers finished the regular season with an 11-3-4 record and await word of a possible at-large bid to the NCAA Division III Championship. The selections will be announced on NCAA.com on Monday, November 9, at 1:30 p.m. EST. The Battling Bishops improved to 15-3-2 and travel to Kenyon for Saturday's championship game.

Ohio Wesleyan's Evan Lee scored at 31:54 on a double-assist from Phoenix Neitzelt and Gunnar Bloecher. Brian Schaefer added the insurance tally at 82:36, unassisted,

The hosts held a 25-7 advantage in shots including 8-2 on goal. The Bishops also had eight corners to DePauw's two and each team committed 11 fouls.

Chris Yount totaled six saves in goal for the Tigers, while Ben Farynowski stopped both of DePauw's on-goal efforts and recorded the shutout.
