Box Score Bloomington, Ill. – The women's soccer team lost to No. 9 Illinois Wesleyan on Wednesday 2-0. The loss drops the Tigers to 5-5-1, while Illinois Wesleyan improves to 11-1.
Illinois Wesleyan scored once in both halves. Alison Seger scored in the closing minutes (34:13) of the first half. Later in the game, Seger assisted on a goal by Nathalie Orozco.
Illinois Wesleyan outshot DePauw 23-5 and took six corners to the Tigers' five. Riley Riordan took the loss in net. She made nine saves.
The Tigers return to action Saturday when they host Hiram at 2:30 p.m.
