Tigers stay undefeated in NCAC

Gambier, Ohio – A late goal kept the DePauw women's soccer team undefeated in NCAC play Saturday when the Tigers defeated Kenyon 1-0.

Caroline Zadina scored at the 70:41 mark with a header she connected on after a save by Kenyon goalkeeper Alissa Poolpol.

The 1-0 score stuck as DePauw improved to 5-4-1 overall and 2-0 in the conference. Kenyon dropped to 7-5 overall and 1-1 in NCAC play.

Riley Riordan recorded the win and the shutout, improving her record on the year to 4-4-1. She stayed busy in the net, making 10 saves.

Kenyon outshot the Tigers 18-11. DePauw had two corners, while Kenyon had zero, and DePauw committed nine fouls to Kenyon's seven. No penalties were issued.

Up next, the women travel to Illinois Wesleyan on Wednesday before returning home Oct. 10 to face Hiram.
