Box Score Granville, Ohio – The women's soccer team suffered its first conference loss on Saturday to Denison, 3-1.
Denison pulled away in the second half after a 1-1 game at the half. Denison scored on an early goal at 2:53 and held a 1-0 lead for the majority of the first half until Kathryn Ruark tied it at 42:21.
Denison came out of the second half as Jacquie Graham scored quickly at 48:43. Later she scored again at 60:11 to put the game away.
Riley Riordan took the loss in net. She made three saves, and her record drops to 8-6-1 on the year.
DePauw outshot Denison 10-8, but Denison took seven corners to DePauw's six.
DePauw is now 9-6-1 overall and 6-1 in the NCAC. Denison is 13-2 overall and 5-1 in the NCAC.
The women head to Allegheny next Saturday to conclude their regular season.
